10 months old

I never realized how fast time flies until Claire came into our lives. The past 10 months have flown by and as I watch Claire, I am amazed at how she has grown. She has her own little personality and definately has a mind of her own. Claire loves to talk and has finally mastered crawling! It took her a little while, but now she is all over the house. Claire also loves to read. When mommy or daddy take to long to read a page, she starts pulling the next page so that we can move right along. It is so funny! I absolutely love being a mommy! It is so fun!!! God is sooooooo good!!

Spring Break!

Claire has had an exciting spring break! Although she started spring break off with a sinus infection, she quickly recovered and enjoyed the visit from her aunt Jenny and cousins Jake and Josh. It was so funny to see Claire get so excited when one of the boys came up to her. She would start yelling and swinging her arms! It was too cute! We went to the Science Spectrum with some friends, played outside, fed the ducks at the pond and went to the park. Claire was exhausted by the end of the day. She had so much fun and it was so sweet to see how the kids interacted together! Enjoy the pics!!

9 months old

Well, I can't believe that we have a 9 month old daughter. It seems just like yesterday we brought her home from the hospital. She is so fun and the blessings that she brings to our lives are beyond words. It is so fun to see her smile, hear her laugh and hear her squeal! Claire has a total of 6 teeth and has 2 more teeth coming in on top. She loves food and at times has a hard time deciding which is more fun, feeding herself or throwing food on the floor. She is growing so fast and her personality is blooming just like a beautiful flower!

First Basketball Game

This past Saturday Claire attended her first basketball game! Texas Tech Red Raiders (mom's alum) played the Texas A&M Aggies (dad's alum). We went to the game with Cookie and Papa and had a great time. It was hard to decide what Claire would wear since her parents supported opposing teams, so, Claire sported a neutral pink. The Aggies beat the Red Raiders 79-73, but we enjoyed the game and look forward to going to many more games!

Claire's First Valentine's

Claire celebrated her first Valentines with her Mommy and Daddy. We had a relaxing day that involved playing, napping and of course, a little shopping!

Birthday Celebration!

Claire celebrated her great-grandmother's 86th birthday this past weekend. We had lots of fun! We shopped, napped and ate (strawberry shortcake, YUM!!) with Grandmother while she was here. We are thankful for Grandmother and her good health. We are so glad for the opportunity for both Claire and her great-grandmother to get to know each other!

How time flies!!

Wow, how time flies. Claire turned 8 months old yesterday and Beau and I remain amazed at how quickly the last 8 months have passed. She is such a blessing and reminds us daily of God's love and grace for us. She is so much fun and has discovered how loud she can really get. When she gets excited she shrieks very loudly to let everyone around her know that she is super excited. It is especially interesting when she does this in restaurants or stores!!

These pics are of Claire hanging out at the house with mommy, just having fun. She loved sitting in the box and probably would have sat there longer if I had let her. When she started trying to eat the flap of the box, I thought it was time to get out! We are ready to start February and are excited for Claire's first Valentine's Day.
