Home at last!

Claire had her tear duct surgery on Monday. We had to be at the hospital at 5:30 am and Claire did not think being up this early was a good thing. The surgery took about an hour and Claire was a little fussy after the she woke up. She took a short nap at the hospital and then we were able to come home. Once we got home, Claire started playing and talking like nothing even happened. She slept most of the day and was quite the trooper! Thank everyone for their prayers!!

11 months old

Claire is actually older than 11 months old, but we have had a busy week. I absolutely can not believe that Claire is 11 months old. Claire has grown so fast and is such a blast! Her personality is so fun. She loves to talk and has lots to say. Claire continues to be very loud when she gets excited and gets lots of attention! Claire also loves bath time. She loves to splash, crawl and play with her toys in the tub. I think Claire could stay hours in her bath if mommy would let her! Our lives have become so much richer since Claire has been added in our lives!!

Claire the Little Swimmer

Claire attended a friend's birthday party this weekend at a pool and she had a blast. Beau and I were not sure how she would respond to the water, but to our surprise, she absolutely loved it. She splashed, floated and kicked in the water. It did not even bother Claire when other kids splashed her. We think that this was a good test run for our lake trips this summer!!

Silly Claire....

Claire LOVES to play peek-a-boo! We play it on her changing pad, in the living room, in the kitchen; everywhere! It is so funny because she cracks herself up when Beau and I start asking, "Where's Claire?". She starts breathing fast and laughing. I believe that she thinks because she can't see us, we can't see her. It is so hilarious!! Beau got a few good shots of her top teeth!

Daddy's Birthday

We celebrated daddy's birthday this past Sunday and Claire was a big help in opening presents! We had a good morning at church and came home to a good lunch! We spent the rest of the day napping, hanging out and had dinner with friends. Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Easter 2009

Claire had a great first Easter. After eating breakfast, she searched through Easter eggs filled with yummy yogurt bites and discovered her basket. Of course her favorite part was the grass at the bottom!! Even though we had to leave church a little early, Claire had a fun time at Cookie and Papa's during lunch and then it was off to home for a good nap!!

10 months old

I never realized how fast time flies until Claire came into our lives. The past 10 months have flown by and as I watch Claire, I am amazed at how she has grown. She has her own little personality and definately has a mind of her own. Claire loves to talk and has finally mastered crawling! It took her a little while, but now she is all over the house. Claire also loves to read. When mommy or daddy take to long to read a page, she starts pulling the next page so that we can move right along. It is so funny! I absolutely love being a mommy! It is so fun!!! God is sooooooo good!!
