Pumpkin Patch 2009

Going to the pumpkin patch is quite fun, if you ask Claire. :) Claire loved walking to all of the scarecrows to check them out. Claire was also a fan of all of the pumpkins. She found a wagon full of little pumpkins and gourds and wanted to hand each and every one to daddy or me. What fun!

South Plains Fair

We all loaded up and went to the fair with our friends the Bass's and the Lorton's. (I know this was a long time ago, we've been busy.) This was the middle of September and it was very, very hot. Claire got to see the animals and ride the carousel. The only picture I got was of Claire and Daddy on the carousel. Claire was quite a fan. :)

Shower at Carino's

I had a shower for Baby Ali this past weekend and was so blessed with all of the goodies from friends and family. We had a yummy lunch at Carino's and a wonderful, beautiful cake - thanks Holly! We can't wait to meet Ali on November 12! Thanks to all our friends and family for making my shower special!

Of course, Claire was not forgotten! She got a new shopping cart from Grammy and other goodies from friends at the shower. Claire loves to carry her purse around and shop like Mommy!!

Go Tech!

Claire wore her Tech cheer leading outfit for the Tech vs UT game last weekend. Mommy cheered the Red Raiders on at home while Daddy listened to the Aggies play. Mommy got to dress Claire Saturday morning, so she supported Tech instead of the Aggies, sorry Daddy. :)

This Outside Thing is Cool!

Claire has discovered the joys of outside! She stands at the front door gazing outside. She wants to go outside so bad that she can't stand it! We brought over one of her cousin's Spiderman bikes and she loves to ride it, going backwards of course! Of course, this poses a problem when you run into the car! Claire loves the ball, too. She throws and kicks the ball and loves to chase it!

Loving the Mirror...

Claire loves to look in the mirror at herself. She makes funny faces and just laughs at herself. It is so funny to watch! I bought her a pumpkin hat and had to get a picture. She does not like anything on her head, which worries me a little for Halloween, so getting her picture with the hat on was quite a task. Enjoy Claire admiring herself. :)

Claire's First Day of School

Claire is enrolled in a Mother's Day Out program and her first day was September 3. Claire had a blast and loved meeting new friends! Claire had been ready because she had been carrying her lunch sack around all week! Claire got a good report from her teachers her first day and she even took a nap!! I couldn't get Claire to be still for pictures, so sorry about the quality.
