Our nights lately

Ok, as a proud Mama I have to brag, just a little. My wonderful 5 1/2 week old daughter has slept through the night the past FOUR nights! Wow! What a blessing. :) She even beat Claire's record, which was pretty good. Ali is such a good baby and is so sweet. She is so easy going and loves to snuggle. Thank you, God, for putting sweet Ali in my life! :)

How time flies....

Things at the Brown household have been very crazy the last couple of months. With the surgery of my mom in October, the birth of Ali in November, the passing of my MeeMaw in November and a second surgery for my mom in December, I have hardly had time to think straight! Hopefully, things will calm down and we will be able to enjoy being at home and continue settling into our new family of 4. With all of the unusual circumstances that our family has endured, time has absolutely flown by. I can't believe that Ali is already 4 weeks old! She is such a sweet baby and so good natured. She has started smiling and catching a smile on camera can be quite tricky. Claire just loves her "baby". Claire walks around saying "Baby, Baby, Baby". Claire loves giving Ali hugs and also loves standing right in her face saying, "Hi, baby. Hi, baby. Hi, baby". Claire is such a good big sister and has adapted very well to sharing Mommy and Daddy's attention. Ali and Claire are such a blessing and make our lives so much fun!

At home

Claire has discovered a new chair, Ali's bouncer seat. Claire noticed it after Daddy assembled it that morning and quickly discovered that it is quite a comfortable chair. Claire loves to sit in the chair with her baby covered. :) How sweet!

Claire insists on giving Ali kisses frequently. It is so sweet to see her love on her little sister. Claire loves to get close to Ali and leave her head on her for just a little bit. It is too cute!!

Going home!

Meeting Baby Sister

Claire is absolutely mesmerized by her new sister Ali. She loves to give her kisses and hugs. Claire likes to carry around a blanket now, so she can cover Ali up quickly! Claire is so sweet with Ali and is adjusting very well to our new addition. Beau and I look forward to Claire and Ali growing up together and the joys that they will bring to our lives!

Ali Nicole Brown

Ali Nicole Brown was born at 8:21 am on Thursday 11/12/09. Ali weighed 8 pounds 14 ounces and was 19 inches long. She is so sweet and is such a blessing from God!

Halloween

This Halloween we went to our church's Fall Festival on Friday night. Claire dressed up as a little lady bug. She was soooo cute! :) Claire wanted to walk around and check things out with Grammy while Mommy and Daddy worked a booth. Claire enjoyed the bubbles, but probably liked her sucker the best! Claire was introduced to suckers and she is quite a fan.

On Halloween night, we went to another Fall Festival and Claire dressed up again and was ready to go. Claire enjoyed riding the tricycle and throwing bean bags. She figured out quickly that she got to get candy after she finished. :) Afterward, we went trick-or-treating at Cookie and Papa's and our neighbor's house. Claire was ready for bed at the end of the night!
