Fall 2011

We have had such a fun start to our Fall! Claire has started noticing the change of the trees and asks lots of questions! She had to collect leaves for her class and we went for a walk to collect as many different leaves as we could. The girls loved it! Ali had her own collection, too! We went to corn maze and rode a horse, picked pumpkins, looked at the animals, and rode the cow train. The girls had so much fun! Claire decided that she wanted to make the pumpkin that she picked sparkly. So, we bought some glitter and she poured the glitter to her pumpkin. Ali thought that was pretty cool, so she sparkled her pumpkin up, too. :)

Summer 2011

Here are the highlights of our busy summer! We had so much fun, but we were ready for the cooler weather.
Fourth of July

We had such fun with our friends the Noble's and our new friends the Trantham's! We met them for the parade and had lots of fun! There was a burn ban, so fireworks were not allowed. So, we watched them on T.V. from home.

School
The girls started Calvary Baptist this year. Claire was so excited she couldn't stand it!! The girls are loving their classes and their teachers. :)

Labor Day

Our family was able to sneak away for a little trip to Albuquerque, NM. The girls LOVED staying in a hotel, LOVED going to the zoo and LOVED all the swimming we did. I love making such fun memories. :) We went to the top of the mountain on our last day, and a front blew in and Mommy did not pack warm enough. It was in the 40's at the top of the mountain and the girls were in shorts! The girls didn't seem to mind too much, though. :)

3 year old!

I am going to try to do better at keeping up to date on my posts. That has become quite a challenge!!

My sweet Claire is growing SO fast!

Claire, you are so sweet. You are one of the most loving little girls I know! You frequently will come into the room that I am in and tell me, "Mom, I love you." You are so often concerned about doing what is nice and are usually such a little rule follower. You have such a tender heart and are so caring. You LOVE to read, LOVE to dress up, love to play with friends, love to wear Mommy's shoes, love to go into the office with Daddy while he is working, love to help Mommy cook (especially bake), and your favorite colors are pink and purple. We love you and look forward to what God has planned for you.

One Year Old......

How does time go by so fast?? It is so hard to believe that my little Ali Bug is one already. Ali has developed quite a personality over the last year. She is so easy going and laid back, but can also have quite a temper when she is upset. Ali loves to cuddle, LOVES to play with her sister, loves to be on the go, and loves sweets! Ali is so much fun and is such a blessing to our lives. It seems just like yesterday we went into the hospital to meet our sweet girl. We love you, Ali!!

Halloween 2010

I had two little cowgirls for Halloween. :) Their little skirts, boots and hats were too cute. We went to our church's fall festival and played games, jumped on the bouncer, rode a train, got our face painted and got CANDY! Claire took a little while to warm up, but after she did, she had lots of fun! Ali wanted to crawl around and get into everything. After the festival, we went home for dinner and turned the light on for trick-or-treaters. Claire thought this was sooo cool! She thought there were trick-or-treaters at the door every two minutes! How fun!!

Claire's favorite part, the CANDY!

Ali loved the balls!
Not so sure about this....
